And so you probably remember this from years past. The information is not quite as robust as the information that we looked at last time, but these are required metrics to present to you. And so this will be information that is displayed on the California dashboard when that is publicized, which will probably be in either late November or early December of this year. And at the end of this presentation, you'll see what that will look like on the dashboard. But again, just the requirements that the reason that we're doing this is that all of our stakeholders are entitled to see information about our school, school and as part our district, as part of the accountability system. And this provides a quick overview. And honestly, the overview is super quick because with all of the the surveys and the assessments that have been taking place in the spring, not many people fill this out. And so this has been the same case every year. And so I, at the end of the presentation, we'll talk a little bit about some of the ways we're thinking of adding this information to the Panorama survey and the other surveys that our teachers take as well so that we get a more robust response. So, as you know, for a couple of years, the dashboard was not displayed, but it is again. And there are six state indicators, which we have seen in the past, and there are five local indicators and that's what you're going to be seeing tonight are the results of our surveys for the local indicators. And those are the items in green. And these indicators must be updated annually. And the metric is, are they, did we meet the expectation, did we not meet it, or have we not met it for two or more years? And that's kind of up to us to determine what met means. And then we report this to the board in conjunction with the approval of the lcap. And then as I said earlier, it will be displayed on the California Dashboard when it is published. So the first one is the state priority one is basic services. And this basically is what is reported out in the Williams report that you receive to let you know that we have highly qualified teachers, that our facilities are all in good repair and that there have been no deficiencies. And we have textbooks for everybody. And so basically we report out on that two or three times over the year. And so we can say that we have met that standard. So state priority two is the implementation of the state academic standards. And that is through a survey. We're asking teachers, there's a self reflection tool, it's a Google form that we send out. And again, very small turnout. These are the numbers of people who filled this out. But again, this was after the Panorama survey where many people filled out the Panorama survey. And they're probably thinking, why do I have to do this again? So we're looking at how we can combine those in the fall, in the spring of next year. So the majority of our small responses put us at level three, which we consider as being met in terms of this expectation for the implementation of academic standards. And part of this as well is the use of instructional materials and making them available for teachers to use to be able to teach the academic standards. And we feel that next year we'll have a more positive response. Also when it comes to the primary grades, because of the new curriculum, everybody will be receiving policies and programs. Do we have these in place so that we can support teachers in delivering instruction around the academic standards? And again, we believe that we have met that standard based on the responses from our teachers and then other adopted academic standards. And again, this was not as robust this year as we believe it will be next year when we have a much more robust music program as well as steam. But we still believe that we've met the standard for this year, continuing with priority two, the support for teachers and administrators. Again, we've got the responses here, believe that this qualifies as having met state priority three. Again, the survey was sent out to families and we asked the schools to give us names and emails of families who are more involved in the school who might be able to answer these questions. A little bit more knowledge. So we asked for site counsel, DLAC, ELAC representatives and we had 96 responses, again a much smaller response in comparison to the Panorama survey. So, so what we did was we incorporated the responses from this survey along with the Panorama survey to develop our metrics. And we believe that building relationships between school staff and family was met because we had a higher rating scale on this. We had a four out of five as well as we took a look at the responses on the Panorama survey which again were high responses. And then we've also got building partnerships for student outcomes. Again you can see what the questions were that they were asked and the responses as well as the responses from the Panorama survey. Seeking input for decision making. Again, these were the questions that the families were asked and the response rate as well as Panorama survey information. State priority six is school climate. And this is what we also use the Panorama survey for with responses from the students as well. And this is grades three through five and the responses. And again this was information that you saw last week. Grade 6 through 8. Broad course of study means that students have access to all subject areas, that they're not limited in the programs and access to curriculum. We believe also again that next year this will be even broader because all students will have opportunities to have electives in the middle schools as well as in the primary grades with their steam and music. Okay, so we said that we've met that and that basically this is what the information will look like on the website. There is a brief narrative for each of these items and that will be the narrative that is we put on the California Dashboard. We put that in by hand and that we have said that we've met the expectation for the different items. We can't exceed. Right. We either meet or we don't meet. Right. And so we've said that we've met and that's that. If there's any questions, I'd be happy to answer them."},{"start":821640,"end":828960,"speaker":"A","text":"Thank you, Liz, for the presentation. Are there any questions, comments? Yeah, I don't know."},{"start":828960,"end":849540,"speaker":"G","text":"I. I don't have any comments about it or questions about it. But if you look at the Panorama survey, which is where we're taking the information from, you can see the amount, the number of students who have responded. So it's a, it's a good response, specifically talking about Hoover and what has taken place at Hoover that should. The last three incidents that have taken place do not reflect well with the survey. So what I can do is between myself and Michelle and Jorge, we can get back to her and really explain this, because this is. Yeah, because this is, this is district wide. But yes, there is portion about Hoover, but if you look at the number, that's okay, don't put it back up. If you look at the numbers from the Panorama survey, there were a lot of students that did. But she's referring to Hoover, but the state is referring to the district as a whole. So Jorge and Michelle and myself will have."},{"start":1175720,"end":1213010,"speaker":"D","text":"Yeah, well, and maybe somebody can translate this. But one comment I would have, if I understand the comment correctly, we did talk about at the last board meeting, specifically looking at the climate survey and making sure that the principals and the teachers at each school site were looking at the climate surveys for their classroom, for their school sites and responding and doing things about that. So as you just said, this is district wide data. But know that at Hoover school and at each school, the principal and the teachers are looking at that data and will be doing something with it."},{"start":1213600,"end":1213760,"speaker":"F","text":"Right."},{"start":1213760,"end":1215720,"speaker":"D","text":"I mean, I think that's accurate."},{"start":1215720,"end":1216720,"speaker":"F","text":"That is that part."},{"start":1216720,"end":1217000,"speaker":"D","text":"Yeah."},{"start":1217000,"end":1217360,"speaker":"F","text":"Yeah."},{"start":1217360,"end":1225280,"speaker":"D","text":"And so I just want to say we did talk about that just last week at that meeting because we actually looked at detailed at the panoramic survey."},{"start":1230480,"end":1231200,"speaker":"A","text":"Do we know?"},{"start":1233360,"end":1278420,"speaker":"F","text":"Yeah, it says online. Yeah, yeah. So what I'll do is I will get Michelle and Jorge and we can definitely talk this more through with her. Go. We can talk about Hoover, number one, about the three incidents, which we all know about. But number two, to also explain that what this is for what the previous slide that Liz was showing was for the dashboard about what was being met district wide, district wide. And if you look at the Panorama survey, there are a lot of students that did, you know, respond. Well, we can go back and look at Hoover, but we're not just looking at Hoover, we're looking at the district as a whole. So this was. We have three, I will not say programs, but additions that we are moving forward with. Because if you look at the equity one, the equity one was not a program. It was something that was developed during the time of the pandemic. And we had felt that we needed to move forward with our equity mission, our vision and our values. And by doing so, as we were going in that direction, we, we and maybe one other school district in the county was also doing it. So we felt that this was worthy of moving forward towards a Golden Bell Award under one of the criteria. The others that you see here is definitely the immersion program. And then we also have the notes. It's the Clifford. It's a Clifford Nua. So in the. As Jorge and I were discussing in the future, what we're going to do is we're going to make sure that we look at the Kent Awards very carefully, because when we do the Kent Awards, many times there are several schools that are submitting and there's normally like one that is chosen from, you know, each district. So we're going to do is keep track of that. And then also the heavy lifting is done during the Kent Awards because a lot of that information can then be developed into the Golden Bell. And when we realize this was due, I guess, Friday and we need the principals and so forth and get some pictures, and some of them are already gone. So this is why we have these three that are moving forward, definitely the NUA and the Mandarin Immersion. The equity one did meet one of the criteria, so that's why we're putting it in there."},{"start":1434320,"end":1445360,"speaker":"D","text":"If I read the criteria, is Jorge on the call?
