This mission is accomplished by providing a challenging, standards-based curriculum and enrichment opportunities that meet individual needs and is delivered in a safe environment by a dedicated nurturing staff. Kennedy Middle School offers an array of programs to support middle school students' social, emotional, physical, and academic needs including AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), elective opportunities in Art, Band, Orchestra, Choir, Robotics, Technology, Drama, Spanish, Yearbook, and more. The school provides extracurricular activities, student activities, Spanish Immersion program, and academic and social supports. Optional trips to Yosemite, Grand Canyon, and Washington D.C., leadership on the Student Council, and participation in after school sports, clubs, and performing arts program are available. The Kennedy Family Center provides fresh fruits and vegetables through the Second Harvest Food Bank, bus passes, counseling, financial resources, school supplies, and more.",
